Is Developmental Assessment by a developmental pediatrician (devped) different from OT and Speech Assessment?

How long will my child receive therapy?
- Each child is different. He/she will be discharged once his/her skills are age-appropriate and upon the recommendation of the therapist/s and the developmental pediatrician.

Does my child need to see a developmental pediatrician? We want to have therapy already.
- A consultation with a developmental pediatrician is highly recommended for speech therapy, and is required for occupational therapy and physical therapy. We will take in children without a developmental pediatrician referral as long as an appointment with the devped has been made.

How frequent does my child need therapy?
- This will depend on the recommendation of the devped and the therapist. With therapy, more frequent sessions are better.

Do you do home therapy?
- No. We prefer to do the sessions in Wordplay as our materials and facilities are in Wordplay.

- All our therapists are licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission, and all Speech Pathologists are certified by the Philippine Association of Speech Pathologists.

What is the mode of payment?
- Our mode of payment is on a per session basis, via cash or check. Clients also have the option to settle on a monthly basis, which requires advanced payment.
